The men of fair Flandre have a deserved reputation for being glib and talkative at the worst of times. Flandre is known as a nation of maritime salesmen whose merchants are rarely bested in a deal. Flandre has perfected the art of the contract, and has emissaries and envoys not just throughout Crown’s Reach but all throughout the world. Their penchant for wearing large, feathered hats and ridiculous sleeves is well deserved (and sometimes mocked), and Flandremen are known for their waxed moustaches and fanciful beards. Flandre’s naval fleet is one of the most advanced in the world, boasting a thousand ships, many of which are armed with cannons. Worship of the Old Gods is almost nonexistent here; the Reformers of Light hold a near monopoly on religious beliefs in Flandre, exerting social and political influence wherever possible. Rivals: Empyrion–too religious! Danthrane–barely a step above barbarism!
Locale: Western coastal nation on the Setting Sea; borders Danthrane (north), Empyrion (south), Vertaes (northeast), and Sindathlar (southeast)
Banner: A white merchant galley on an orange field striped and bordered in blue lace (blue topaz or aquamarine for brooches)
Role: A vast and influential trading armada at the height of its powers.
Theme: What if the Dutch East India Trading Company became a sovereign nation? 17th century-themed high seas hijinks, powdered wigs, and fancy hats with feathers! Duelists unite, but beware the occasional flintlock pistol!

A small fishing village that borders Danthrane to the north. Aflughem is practically the only place rival Flandre and Danthrane do business.
A small coastal village, aptly named for the hard winds that come singing down from the north. Gulltown is Flandre’s northernmost town, offering cheap passage (sometimes illegally) out of Flandre and into Danthrane to the north.
This coastal town is allegedly haunted. Staying overnight is discouraged by most from the town itself.
This picturesque mountain town has a dark secret, one it is not openly willing to divulge. Please, ignore the warnings and come for the sightseeing!
A vacation paradise where many of Flandre’s wealthy go on holiday.
Fully knows as the Sunken City of Saefting, this ghost town lies sunken beneath the sea, its tolling bells said to be attended by ghosts and ghasts.
Formerly called Wappersrui-ed-Wappersbrug, this town has of late been overrun by some sort of mysterious otherworldly phenomenon. Entry into this town is strongly discouraged until it sorts its problem out.
Flandre’s largest, busiest city, and is quite possibly the most chaos-ridden port in all of Crown’s Reach. The Flandremen of Westport rise early, up before most sane men, and often deal late into the night. Strong coffees and stimulant-laced tobaccos are the social norm here, and sniffing the social drug adoren is quickly gaining popularity.
