Anurabi

Named for Anu, god of the sky. This once-holy nation has become divided between the priests who beseech peace in the name of the Dead Gods, and the restless military leaders who covet lands more fertile than theirs. The Bones of Anu are said to lie in state, but restlessly; some even claim they stir, though if this signifies a return of one of the eldest living gods, none can say.

Enkin: Named for the god Enki, this self-professed city-state borders both Anurabi and Marduk-Mazar, and has been claimed by both nations multiple times. It currently defies both and remains free, at least for now.
